The Mechanical Gate is an extremely effective and economic access control solution. The mechanical gate is reliable and practical and offers the oportunity to direct traffic flow in areas where maximum security is not required.
The mechanical gate is designed to open through 90 degrees and return to the closed position under spring tension. The gate can open in the reverse direction in emergency situations by applying firm body pressure to the gate. The arm needs to manually reset in this case. A simple adjustment negates this facility when it is used as an exit. The mechanical gate can be used to block off passageways and redirect people to paypoints or simply provides a means of orientation.
The mechanical gate has a mild steel body in bright chrome although other options such as RAL colour powder coating and sating chrome are available at extra cost. Arms are supplied between 500mm -1000mm (in 50mm increments) and have a white infil panel with directional signage. The option is available to have a full depth arm (767mm) with a perspex or white infil panel.
Gates ae on 1060mm uprights. Standard finish bright chrome plate with white infil panel to arm. Before ordering calculate the gap minus 150mm for the arm length (e.g Gap = 750mm minus 150mm = arm length of 600mm) The arm direction is worked out by imagining you are standing behind the gate in which direction would the arm move if someone walked through? To your left or to your right? If it moves to the right order a right handed gate. Fixings must be ordered separately
