Mechanical gates offer an extremely effective yet economical access security solution. As reliable as it is practical, they are designed to be used to indicate entrance and exit flow and areideal for areas that do not require maximum security.
In normal use, these gates open through 90 degrees but, in the event of an emergency, firm body pressure enables the gate to be opened in reverse. We have various locking mechanisms available to enhance the functionality of these gates;
- Controlled Entrance - allows the gate to be remotely controlled or it can be used on it's own for free entrance
- Alarmed Controlled Emergency Exit - designed to allow for an emergency passageway in the same direction as the entry gates
- Emergency Exit - ideal for internal use where barriers would prevent access to emergency exit doors
- Bi-Directional - designed to be used in areas where the traffic flow occurs in both directions and opens through 180o
- Locking systems - available include Lift-Up Lock or Lift-Up Key Lock for remote controlled entry/exit
- Mechanical Turnstile - a retail style turnstile which can be used in conjunction with trolley flaps.

The standard signage for the infill panel is a blue arrow on one side with a red no-entry sign on the other. An Emergency Exit gate is also available, along with various other panel designs.
